Lucia skipped silently down a narrow dirt path. The farther she skipped, the thicker the forest became. The thicker the forest became, the darker it got.
"Interesting," Lucia muttered to herself. She had never been in a forest. Everything seemed so quiet. What happened to the small, colorful feathered, winged things? They seemed to have stopped squawking and whistling. Strange. They seemed like a noisy bunch.
Lucia suddenly had this weird feeling that she wasn't alone. She wasn't sure if the other presence knew they weren't alone in the woods. just to be safe, Lucia skipped off the path and ran to a large oak tree. She jumped up and grabbed onto the lowest branch. She swung her feet up and began to climb to get a better look of her surroundings.

Forests, hundreds of lines of endless trees. How pointless and boring it seemed to him. At least the ones on Earth were smaller considerably to the ones in other dimensions. In fact, there were not many places in the world that held his interest, though forests were one of the worst. He would not be here if he was not owed money by one of its inhabitants. He shuddered slightly, why would anyone choose to settle down here?
Aglaeca frowned slightly. There was something nearby... something living yet larger than a woodland creature. It could be his target, but he would be in considerable luck if it was for he was not due to reach his destination for at least another half an hour. No, this was most likely something else.

There was a light, agitated cringe of the leaves. Yes, she was not alone. Lucia paused. She need not climb anymore. She could sense where the creature was, but this was no ordinary creature. No, humans were much more noisy and destructive. Plus, they had a distinct smell: pain, death.. Mortal smell.
Lucia bent her legs and sprang forward in the direction of the sound. She landed ever so quietly on the grass in front of the creature.
"What is your business out here?" she asked, a questioning look on her face. The creature looked like a man. Maybe humans could walk without destruction..

Aglaeca stared at them for a few seconds as he realised his assumption was correct. He then turned his mind to her question. Why on Earth should he answer such a thing? Anyone who would tell the truth to such a demand would be seriously lacking in the brains area.
"And who are you to be enquiring about my personal affairs?" He asked, folding his arms impatiently and raising an eyebrow expectantly.
It was quite clear that this newcomer was not a human, though she appeared as one, much like himself. Maybe she had taken it under her wing to act as a guard for this section of the forest. Either that, or she was just plain nosey.

...and maybe werewolves can be domesticated.., Lucy finished her thought.
Lucia stared at him. Her black eyes gleamed. That was the answer she expected from him.
"I am one who will have peace in this forest while I am among it. Obviously, my personal affairs are alright to be inquired then?" she shot back.
She mimicked him and crossed her arms. So far so good. This was probably the best conversation that she had ever had. Mainly because both of them were still in one piece.

Aglaeca resisted a strong urge to hit her but did not refrain from the cold, irratated glare that he shot her way. Already this girl was beginning to get on his nerves. Her actions appeared incredibly immature. By all rights he should not hold back and should dispatch of this nuisance as quickly as possible with the intent to be out of this forest as soon as he could, yet something told him that that could result in an even longer confrontation. No, it would be best just to get rid of her with a few words if possible. Aglaeca cringed inwardly, that sounded like something Avdima would say. He was incredibly determined that he would not become the same waste of space that his father was. But still, he decided to play for now.
"You intruded upon my personal affairs before I asked anything of you. If you had simply let me be then no one would have had to enquire about anything. I could have completed my business here and left without causing any hassle to your pretty little head and your will for 'peace'." Really, all of what Aglaeca had just said was a fluffed up and slightly antagonistic of the playground classic 'they started it'. It seemed to fit in perfectly considering the fact that to Aglaeca, her attitude made her appear as if she belonged there.

Pretty. Little. Head.
Lucia felt as though she had been slapped. This guy was bugging the wrong person. Seriously. Did he think she was just going to stand there and take it? Well, he was right. There really wasn't anything she could do to him, unless.. no.. that would be a bit extreme.
She stood there and glared at him; her uncontrollable anger building up in her. While they stood there, dark clouds seemed to 'magically' appeared in the sky. Lightning flashed and struck the ground not far from them, setting a giant, old oak on fire. It was consumed in less then a minute.
Lucia jumped when she heard the noise. When she saw what had happened she cursed at herself for letting her anger get the best of herself. She watched as the flames grew. Tree after tree disappeared in the red and yellow mess. The fire was growing closer to where they stood.
Lucia allowed a frightened glance at the stranger that stood next to her. Lost for words, she shrugged. This had never before happened to her. Not really sure what to do in this situation, she watched the man's reactions.

Aglaeca jumped at the crashing sound that split through the forest. Well, maybe 'jumped' was a bit of an overstatement, really he simply turned sharply to locate the origin of the sound. It was not hard to spot. He stood there for a couple of seconds, watching the flames mercilessly engulf the trees, edging ever nearer towards them.
He glanced upwards, through the branches, towards the sky. A storm. Strange, there had been no threat of such vicious whether before hand. Yet there was no time to dwell on the source of the lightening that had initiated the blaze, he had to get away, fast.
A pang of anger struck through him, would he be forced to let go of his task? What if the fire consumed the one he was travelling to? He would never be repaid if the one in debt was wiped off the face of the planet! The idea of losing all that money stung him. But then again, he would much rather have himself alive. That was easy enough, his teleportation powers would do the trick. Still, it would drain his power reserve like crazy and he was not sure where he would end up. Maybe it would be best to attempt to out run the blaze first.
He shot a look at the girl, would she have any such means of escape if it came to it? Not that he cared much. Aglaeca had never cared about anything other than his own skin.
Raising an eyebrow at her in wonderment, he turned and began to run in the opposite direction to the flames.

Lucia watched him run for a second. Was that the right thing to do? She followed him, but kept distance between them. She wasn't exactly sure if he was dangerous. A light rain began to fall.
What if he wasn't dangerous? What if he could help her?!
"Stop!" she called to him; speeding up her pace. Was he the one that could help her control her powers? And if he wasn't, maybe he could help point her in the right direction. At this thought, all Lucia's anger drained from her.
As her anger vanished, so did the dark clouds above the forest, and the rain ceded. The only thing that didn't stop was the raging fire that engulfed everything in it's path.

Aglaeca sighed as he slowed his pace. Putting effort into making his expression appear bored, he turned to face her, arms folded once more. Though this did not last as his irritation soon overwhelmed any urge to seem bored.
"Don't you think it's just a little bit stupid to tell someone to stop when the bleeding forest is on fire!" He snapped at her, yet he did not continue running, he merely waited for her to explain why she had asked him to stop. It had better be a good excuse. He vowed silently that if this girl made it so that there was no other option but teleportation and he ended up in Antarctica, or somewhere as equally far and inconvenient, once his powers recharged themselves he would make her pay.

Lucia was glad when he stopped... though, it was strange. You'd think he would have ignored her and kept running.
"Are you the one that can help me control my powers?" she asked plainly. She had to be quite straight forward since, as he put it, the bleeding forest was on fire.
"I was told I could find them on Earth. Are you the one?" she felt that if she explained it a bit more, he might be able to help her.. Or he would just give her a strange look and run off.

Aglaeca had to admit, he was greatly surprised by her question. Having said that, he felt absolutely no compulsion to help her. Why should he?
"Even if I could, why the hell would I want to help you? You seem like nothing more than an annoying little brat to me." He was unsure whether or not to say that last sentence but in the end he decided to what was the worst that could happen?
As soon as he thought that he realised that maybe it had not been the smartest thing to say. Had she not just said that she needed help in controlling her powers? That obviously indicated that she was not in control of them now. If he angered her it could easily result in an unintentional, or maybe not so unintentional, attack.
Something in his mind clicked as events snapped into place. Had the storm not appeared and forest not caught fire after he had patronised her? Could she summon lightning? If she could then that was an incredibly dangerous power not to be in control of, for many people, possibly his own cause. He should help her control them, or at least guide her to someone who could, he would be expected to, she could be an asset to his side.
Aglaeca sneered at his own thoughts, no, it would probably be much better just to let her burn in this forest, then her problem would not trouble anyone.
Mind made up, he turned and began to run again.

A brat? A BRAT?
Lucia would show him brat. No, she shouldn't. She should control her anger... but he was asking for it.
She battled herself for a minute, but rage controlled her as he ran; leaving her. The sky darkened once more and lightning struck in front of the man. If he was going to leave her in this forest she would trap him with her.
The air was full of smoke, making it difficult for her to breath, but she didn't notice. Or care for the matter. It was only the human body that couldn't breath.
"So, rethinking your position?" Lucia called to him. She was walking calmly to wards the man. Why was she doing this? She shouldn't. But he deserved it, didn't he? Just cause you don't get your way..

Aglaeca yelped and jumped backwards with shock as the lightning tore up the ground in front of him, setting fire to even more of the forest. He glanced around to see if there was a free route through the trees, but there was none.
He coughed slightly, at first he thought that this was strange, he rarely displayed such a pathetic reaction, but then he realised why. The smoke was beginning to worm its way into his chest. He growled in anger, he would not be beaten by smoke. He wondered how much of this weakness had to do with the side of him that was half human... he despised that side so much.
It seemed he had no choice but to teleport now, yet part of him was telling him to wait, to punish the girl first for making him have to waste such a large amount of his reserves. He would have enough time. Lack of oxygen was a problem for him, but he could last much longer without it than a full human could. At best he could probably last twenty minutes without breathing but he would not need that. He reasoned that it would only take a couple to deal with the girl before fleeing the flames.
Slowly he turned around to face the girl, flickering his fingers so that sparks of electricity flowed between them.
"You should not have done that." He said as he allowed his human visage to fade into his demonic form.

Should not have done that? Why? She needed help, and obviously he wasn't going to just oblige. Wasn't force the right thing to use? It was all she ever knew. Was there a different way? Lucia looked to the man.
"What do you mean?" she asked. But there was something going on with him. He was changing. She watched him attentively. What was happening? "What are you doing?"
Paying no attention to the growing flames, Lucia took a few steps back, stepping into it. The heat against her skin, but not even a second afterward, it was burning. She jumped forward, out of the fire, not used to the strange sensation. That had never happened before when she walked in fire. Was it this human body?
Things weren't looking so good right now. Lucia didn't know what do... but if she did something, she wouldn't be able to control it. Right now, they were both in danger.
