The vivid blue of his skin appeared a dark purple against the flames that danced all around them. He laughed faintly as he watched her step into the fire, she really was not that bright was she? He wondered how good she was at dodging attacks if she could not even stay in one place without putting herself in greater danger.
In one swift motion, Aglaeca brought his hand sharply upwards to waist level and outwards, to shoot a bolt of electricity at the girl. He had realised that he needed to act even quicker than he had assumed. He was not in danger of suffocation, oh no, the flames would have engulfed him long before that happened. Maybe he would just have to leave the girl to her fate... unless she gave him some immensly brilliant reason as to why he should let her live longer, to help her escape. But Aglaeca could not see that happening.
There was also always the chance that she was familiar with teleportation, that when she noticed him beginning to leave she would grab hold of him in some way, which would either restrain him from leaving, or take her with him. Yet if it came to it he would have to chance it, at least he would have a chance to finish her off properly if she managed to tag along.

Lucia watched him. He had powers too. So he could help her! She smiled, letting herself get distracted for a moment. Something hit her. She was not sure what, but she stumbled backward a few steps. She felt dizzy and tired all at one time. She could practically smell the energy cursing through her body.
"Wha?" she said to herself. She manage to keep herself on both feet, but now she felt very sad. This man had done this damage to her, and all she wanted was help.. Well, she had managed to set the whole forest on fire, but who knew it would burn so quickly? She sighed, and concentrated as hard as she could. Rain. Make it rain.
The rain came down harder then it ever would. The fire was no match. The flames flickered and died after a minute. Lucia stood, soaked. With the fire out, the rain slowly died down to a light mist.
"Can't you just help me? I'm not asking you to do the impossible," she said to him. She fell to her knees in the ash and mud mixture. Her body still stun with whatever that man had threw at her.

"You still have failed to tell me why I should help you." Aglaeca retorted, folding his arms once more.
He no longer felt the sense of urgency he did before, considering there was no immediate threat of been burnt. Yet the rain did have its disadvantages. Aglaeca had never had cause to use his power when everything around him, including himself, was wet. Water conducts electricity and he had no idea how it would affect him if he blasted her and some of his shot short circuited through the water and into him. It may not harm him at all, considering he was probably already partly electric to be able to summon his power, but it was not a risk he was willing to take.
At least the sudden downpour meant he still had a chance to finish what he started by coming here... as long as the fire had not already burnt his destination to the ground and killed those that were there. If it had he would make this girl pay dearly, not that he was not interested in doing that already.

Why? Wasn't the fire proof?
"Because it might get worse," Lucia said softly, "Today it's half a forest, tomorrow a city? A country? I can't control myself."
She looked him in the eyes. He didn't look too happy. Well, you'd wonder why.. Lucia felt bad. She had ruined his walk in the forest, or whatever it was. But she had a feeling he probably wasn't up to no good in there anyway.
"And if you help me, I'll owe you," Lucia added, hoping he would take it.

"You'll owe me? I have to ask, of what possible use could you be to me?" He could not contain the slightly sadistic smile that crossed his face, "I am well aware of the danger you could pose, but there are other ways to take care of such problems without me me wasting my time." Killing her was one option definitely and probably the most easy for him. He could bind her into his service, he had done that before, yet something told him that she could be much more hassle than it was worth. She did not strike him as someone who would think highly of his 'work'.

He did not look like he was, in anyway, going to help her. Lucia sighed. Well, at least she tried. But he was probably right. She would be a waste of his time.
"Be it, then," she said, standing up. Her body was a little shaky, but slowly she was gaining her strength back. "Carry on with your little adventure. I'm going to look for someone with real power who can help me."
And with her back to the man, she made her way to where she thought the path was. If he was not going to help her, why bother with him? She did not have time to waste. Neither did he apparently.

'Someone with real power'?! Who did she think she was inclining that he was weak? He wanted to show her so badly just how wrong that assumption was, yet he was still constantly aware of the water that clung to his skin. It was a most infuriating situation and now she was walking away from him! He would not submit to being insulted in such a way, but he also realised that it would be foolish to anger her more when he could not use his own power... not that he could not fight her with strength, but because he had no idea how strong her power really was. If she was inclined to use it more than physical fighting then Aglaeca would be at a disadvantage.
He paced quickly after her and spoke the first thought that could cross his mind.
"Just how much is it worth to you?" Aglaeca immediately regretted saying that, it sounded like he was offering to help... maybe he should have thought it through more. Though, she could be useful if he found a way to trick her...

Did Lucia hear him right? It sounded like he wanted to help. She was surprised, but glad. Maybe he would help her after all. She spun around quickly to face him.
"Everything," Lucia admitted to him. She really needed help. "Have you changed your mind?"
Lucia tried to hide her happiness, but she was always bad at hiding her emotion. You could read her face like a book. She couldn't hold back her grin, or stop the sparkle in her eyes. Her heart pounded loudly. You could smell the excitement fuming within her. Of course, she thought she was keeping her cool. Poor girl..

Aglaeca tried not to scoff at her blatent excitement, he had made a mistake in his wording but if things went his way then it could pay off, he was certainly sure that he did not wish to incur any more anger from her when his own power was possibly unsafe to use.
He raised an eyebrow at her when she said 'everything', just how much exactly would that 'everything' be? If she accepted the propsal that he was planning to offer, it would not matter if it turned out to be not quite 'everything' after all, she would not have a choice but to obey him.
"Would you be willing to bind yourself to my service? I'm not suggesting anything permenant, I would release you once I feel you have repaid your debt..."
Part of Aglaeca's mind was still wondering about how exactly he was going to train her if she accepted, but he would get to that later.

Logan crept, making as little noise as possible, through the forest. His quiver filled with sharp flint arrows ready to be shot. An arrow rested on the bowstring, waiting for the kill. Between the trees, a stag grazed peacefully. Logan bent down in the bushes. "As quiet as mice, I am," he muttered under his breath. He pulled his bowstring so far that he could kiss the bowstring with his lips. When he was ready, he concerntrated his aim and let go of the arrow. It zipped through the air. Logan waited.
