A girl with a white cloth wrapped around her head, but not her eyes, galloped on a light brown Arabian horse. Dust flew up in her face, almost blinding her. She steered the horse into a cave. She simply fell off and hit the ground, coughing up sand. The horse nudged her and pulled the cloth off that covered her face. It revealed black short hair and a head-set around her ear. It was crushed. "Come in Black Slayer, over. Black Slayer? Black Slayer do you read me?" a voice on the head-set. The girl was Gin Knews. The horse backed up into a corner. All was silent.

The sound of footsteps sounded in the cave. A dark figure appeared in the corner. It's boots clanked on the floor. They stepped on the radio, crushing it even more. THe only sound in the cave was static and breathing. "So, this is the mighty Gin Knews. Not so mighty to me." Storm chuckled, walking around her. She smiled, revealing white teeth.

Whilst Avdima was searching for an answer to his latest problem winding up in the desert had not been what he had had in mind. His eyes gazed across the landscape, thousands of miles of sand stretching in every direction. Deserts were not his most favourite place in the world as the contained the one thing that could wound him, cacti. He had even heard of, no, not heard, seen daggers that had been very carefully crafted from thousands of cactus spines and was afraid of running into someone that was in possession of one, not that he was likely to run into many people in this desolate place. Also, Avdima had been searching for a way to prove a man guilty of kidnapping a woman's child, he highly doubted that he would find the answer here. The only thing stopping Avdima from teleporting back was that it required a huge amount of strength to travel that long-a-distance and the journey there had already sapped him of power. He needed to let his powers recharge, but he hoped it would not take too long.
Avdima spotted a cave in the distance, he was about to ignore it before it occured to him that, if he was going to be here for a long time he would need some shelter, the cave could provide just that. His mind set up, he began to approach it, guessing it would take at least fifteen minutes to reach it.

The horse stood up and started to walk foreward, preparing(sp?) to charge. Then the horse suddenly stopped, it's ears perking up. Storm spun around and looked up. "Now what?" she growled, looking into the distance.

Avdima paused just a few metres short of the cave entrance, something was not right. He cast his eyes on the scenery around him for a few seconds before returning his gaze to the cave. He was not alone, someone else must be in the cave. Avdima sighed, he could only hope that whoever it was was in a sharing mood. Cautiously, he began making his way towards the entrance.

Storm lifted her hand as it turned into a wolf's. She neared the claw to Gin's throat.

"Hello?" Avdima called into the cave, his voice resonating off the walls. To most it would seem a stupid thing to do, but is it not best to draw something that could be potentially malevolent out into the open where you can see it, rather than to plunge into an incredibly dark where it may be watching and attack? He folded his arms and leant casually against the wall to the left-hand-side of the entrance, the coldness of the rough stone slowly beginning to penetrate his body.

Storm quickly turned at the sound of the voice. "The person that is in here shall die!" she hissed, straightening up. Her face was white, for she ws more nervous that she looked. Her hand slowly returned.
