Michaela shivered a little at the sound of the howl but quickly attempted to conceal it. It was not until after she had passed the werewolf that she acknowledged that she had done so. Showing no emotion she turned around and spoke the words, "If you had caught me on any other night, believe me I would not let you off so easily, but I will let you go...for now." Swiftly she turned back around with the intention of leaving.

Silver laughed. "I doubt you could kill a rabbit. Or anything, that is alive. Which I am... unlike you." Silver hated most vampires from the start. She thought of them as weak and worthless parasites, but she knew it was dangerous to engage one in combat in a city like Venice, which has deep roots. The vampire would most likely have friends that would avenge her death.

Michaela gritted her teeth, being careful about the words that she chose, "If we ever meet again you will see that I am capable of killing much more than a rabbit, but I would advise you to avoid running into me again so as a heads up, if you ever hear that a Michaela Larshai is in the area, I would leave, fast." She said before hastily turning around and continuing down the alley. Temporarily her panic and guilt about the crime she had commited had left her, but now it was beginning to return, she had to get away, somewhere safe.

Hickory watched from atop a building, waiting for the right moment to jump down. She felt movement and looked over the roof of the building. "A vampire."she whispered, gritting her teeth into a scowl. She gave a low growl and then suddenly straightened up. She felt something else. Hickory didn't have to see this one, for it was one of her own kind. She stopped scowling and moved slowly over to the alley. She crawled down the wall silently and stood in the darkest part of the alley.
